The tram driver - Chapter 5

The tram driver is often misunderstood. Sometimes you get the feeling many see the driver as the ultimate evil. The driver is the executive hand of the devil, namely, the company that dares to swear the transport company and a service offered by the established, the population was torture, with high prices, unobserved schedules and inconvenient, dirty vehicles. I would like to report in a series of blogs a few anecdotes from the life of a tram driver and awaken so maybe a little more understanding. Although it sometimes may seem as if I'd just complain, it's because of my penchant for exaggeration therefore not take it so serious.

Chapter 5-muck in the vehicle

WARNING: This chapter is primarily meant to excite me. So do not expect nice anecdotes, but a splash of Motzerei. ;)

rise to this chapter, gives me a letter from today's newspaper. This letter was the second to the original. Topic was the original dirty vehicles. An ordinary letter as from time to time occur. Oh God. The vehicle is dirty, where does the only here and most of all why do these stupid idiots because it not go away, because I go here regularly because I have a right to a clean vehicle. The answer to this letter was an indication that the vehicles are cleaned daily, but during the day now littered times of passengers, mind you. The letter I've liked just thinking about reality. Today's letter to this writer is even right, but it does point out that is turned over to the termini at the break, where to pick up so someone can go through to the garbage lying around.

It is the naivety of such views that one can rob a driver last nerve. We of course have a different perspective than the normal passenger. If he is a regular commuter route is to continue, he drives up to about 1 to 2 hours a day by train. The driver 8 hours and up to 4 hours with the same vehicle. Since you will automatically receive a different view of things. But we simply can not just be what some people Performances have. If the driver may quickly go again with the mop across the car in the 6 to 10 min time of change at the last stop. After 1 hour run at a time. What is no less mentally and physically exhausting, even if many think just sitting around since. Time to practice what I'm doing at the termini. Sometimes I go to the toilet. driving in 4 hours it could well happen that nature demands the right. I go through the vehicle to see if there are lost and, incidentally, arises frequently than you might think. I'm doing some stretching exercises to sleep because an otherwise all members. Some colleagues also take the time to smoke a short time. Then I pull the car in front of the station and let people enter and already were signs of questioning passengers as they get the fastest and cheapest to their destinations. We are not locked away and that is the front passengers like to make it use the driver to be able to ask you something. What I'm saying it's not a break we have at the last stop. If we delay, we must sometimes go right back. But of course we can again go through quickly and put away the garbage of the passengers. Now I would like to describe

times as such a vehicle in the course of a day is dirty. In the morning when one disengages Sun at 3:45 clock, with a gleaming new Vehicle, you gather on weekends at the main station, the party-goers scattered ultimately on them to go home. At the last stop then you go through the vehicle and place. Halbaufgegessene Hamburg, vomit, beer bottles with a little content and a lot of distributed content, newspapers and other unidentifiable stuff. Now it's 5:00 clock. In extreme cases, such as vomit, the vehicle will be replaced by a new one and must be cleaned again. Whether you believe it or not, we do not have a mobile surface-action force which drives off with lights flashing and wegputzt the vomit on the fly. Such a thing would entail additional staff.

But the average passengers behave like such pigs. Morning traffic in the working example, I find the termini always a good dozen newspapers, for Uncle Scrooge would be a dream for me, it evokes with incomprehension. Why can they not take a newspaper and throw in the garbage, why do they lie for to be left in the car. Even the beautiful sunflower Group. The sit down and shelling on a core by one, slide it into his mouth and drop the shells. Or the environmentalists that their beautiful orange peel, and thus all have something of the smell deposit, the wells in the cracks of the seats.

What I find so odd is how easy today partially eaten in the car. Here comes a woman me forward with a really nice fat kebabs in both hands and says: ". Einmpffen driving absorbing translucent mampf bit Suctioning te kau" When I asked whether she just really serious about it only said: "why wasn Mampf Grampf" My reply that I do not Operating the passengers who are too stupid to eat you will eat less secretly behind, she was not funny. But the fact remains, if the food already illegally in the vehicle, they have to do it but not directly to the driver's lap! Or?

So to put it clear, our vehicles are cleaned every day. And although in the night, when the vehicles are on the depots. This is a Sauarbeit under time pressure. One drives the vehicle into the hall the next throw in the water by the train, then durchgewischt quickly and the hard impurities get special treatment. Then the vehicle is parked in the back yard so a new driver in the morning can turn out so again. Most vehicles are then some 18 hours on the road a day. So instead of complaining about dirty accessible vehicles, one should rather upset about all the bastards who have nothing better to do than the vehicles that belong to the public deal, so as they would a garbage dump. And certainly one should not expect the hotel would be Mama, behind a cleaning the kitchen. Our company does at least everything in their power to the passengers a good service and clean vehicles to deliver. If you but is 24 hours sabotaged a day, you can not change some things, unfortunately, nothing.
