So really, since I stöber now been well over a year every now and again at the Amazon Marketplace for a used version of Dark Omen and stumble now more or less randomly over the old games collection Play the games at a bargain price. Meanwhile, there are even enough versions of Dark Omen, but the same for quite a collection of classics was for me as a collector at a stroke much more attractive. But why actually Dark Omen and as you stumble over Play the Games?
So, like all star game fans will know, there are now a few years the monthly 10-year retrospective. When it was Dark Omen's turn and Gunnar Lott and Heiko Klinge raved about the game, came in me the desire to catch up this game experience. A squad-based, real-time tactical game, the Warhammer universe and a core army to take one of the battle to battle, that I could not just let me escape. This sounds simple, in my game.
As I said at the beginning so I went to look on the used market. But either was the version is not available or was covered expensive. Therefore I left it for the first time. Recently arrived in retrospect then Dungeon Keeper 2 to the series. Uhhh, I thought, this is still around here somewhere. No way, I've lost my Dungeon Keeper 2 apparently. On the used market I came across even on individual versions, but also on the compilation Play the Games Vol.3. What could also have a look at the other editions of the series, and lo and behold, Dark Omen. I'm thrilled. Both collections for 5 neuron, because I do not disturb the other tracks as ballast. Now I can indulge my Retrotrip first time for months. ;)
