I recently added to the Amazon Deal of the Week for Darksiders. Ever since the first small details of this title were circulating shortly after the start of the X-BOX 360, I was curious about the title. A large cartoon-like game world, that action rangt around the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, that sounded quite interesting enough to awaken my interest and safeguard the long development time. What is now at the end came after years of development at low, can inspire me in the first hours of playing more than one.


The law

Darksider we embody in one of the four apocalyptic horsemen with the melodious and pointed to war. Classic gameplay
The gameplay is classic of Darksiders in a positive way. It is based namely on the action-adventure Soul Reaver and Zelda. We explore a large coherent world, solve puzzles, beat action-packed battles and experience an exciting story. Just as in the obvious role models, we always get new abilities and items that allow a then penetrate into new areas and so again to read new stories behind the story. I find this kind of gameplay very motivating and I can really only ask again, why do not more such games to be developed. Has the large gaming community really tired of this large-scale epic adventure to experience. Will they really prefer to shoot in 5 hours by a crashing staged Moorhuhn clone? I hope not, otherwise we run the risk of eventually getting really no fun beads as Darksiders more.

comic look
The comic book look of the game provides a very independent appearance of Darksiders. One notices immediately that one of the most responsible for the game comes from the comic book industry and his artistic influence on the game can contribute. Wonderfully colorful and yet brutal level architecture pairs, here with a brutal and fluid animations. The game just looks damn good. Sometimes the graphics falter While into this playful but has no influence. In particular, the opponents have been designed simply great. Such beautiful demon I have not seen for a long time. Since it's almost a shame that they are all stylishly split with Chaos War sword eater, into its individual parts. In this context one should also mention the absolutely amazing soundscape. Epic music choirs and a more than successful German Spachausgabe ensure that you sink into the atmospheric world of Darksiders can. I can only recommend the game with an appropriate system to play, the subwoofer is a massage at some points actually belonging to stomach.

did in the first hours of play I have been sooo many different gameplay elements get served up as usual in several games together. As would be the one, of course, invited to name the action struggles that go very smoothly by the hand and viewed through different combos and weapons, in isolation, very varied run. They are joined by a variety of Jump-Run passages to overcome cliffs, scramble to long or to hop on walls across platforms. Whimsy to the whole in which we either solve complicated puzzles or old-fashioned key switch puzzles to figure out complicated equipment to get started. Often you will only continue if you have found, once a new object, such as the centrifugal blade that works just like the boomerang in Zelda. Not to mention the really terrific boss fights staged or the flight of deposits Panzer Dragoon. The beautiful, all of these gameplay elements coalesce into a fluid whole, and thus do not act put on. I have so far had a lot of fun with war and am already looking forward to another game I will spend hours with this game. In addition to Mass Effect 2 is not for me, already one of the absolute highlights of the year.
